This policy is to be considered valid only for this website and not for other websites (if any) visited by the user through links. The Controller shall not in any way be deemed liable for third-party websites.

PLACE OF PROCESSING

Processing related to web services of this website shall take place at the Controller’s head office and shall be handled by the staff in charge of processing and the provider responsible for Internet and hosting/housing services of this website. Furthermore, that processing is handled solely by the technical staff of the Department in charge of processing or by any persons responsible for non-routine maintenance operations under the close control of the Controller.

TYPES OF DATA PROCESSING

Browsing data

IT systems and the software operating this website acquire some personal data during their current operations, whose transmission is implicit in use of Internet communication protocols. This information is not collected to be associated with identified data subjects, although by its nature this data may enable to identify users through processing and grouping with data owned by third parties.

Within this category of data are included IP addresses, or Domain Names of computers (DNS) used by users who connect to the website, Uniform Resource Identifiers (URI) of the required resources, the date and time of request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file received in reply, the numeric code indicating the reply state given by the server (success, error, etc.) and other parameters related to the operating system and to the IT environment of the user. This data is only used to retrieve anonymous statistic information related to use of the website and to check its correct operation and data is deleted immediately after processing.

The data may be used to ascertain any liability in the event of hypothetical cyber-crimes to the detriment of the website; notwithstanding such event, data on web contacts shall not be stored for more than 7 days at present.

Data deliberately provided by the user

Deliberate, explicit and optional sending of emails to the addresses specified on this website and web forms and/or newsletter registration forms present in the website involve subsequent acquisition of the sender’s first and last name and address necessary to reply any request.

PROCESSING PURPOSE

Personal data deliberately provided by the user shall be processed for the following purposes, until the consent is withdrawn:

  • browsing the web site;

  • request of contact through sending of requested information;

  • supply of ordered products and services and fulfilment of contractual obligations;

  • sending of newsletters and periodic communications by email when the user has provided specific authorization at the foot of the relevant web form through check box, which if checked enables the SEND button;

  • all company activities in general in connection with the existing relationship.

METHOD OF PROCESSING

Failure to provide such data may make it impossible to receive the requested services.

DATA TRANSFER TO NON-EU COUNTRIES

Collected personal data shall not be transferred to Non-EU countries; it is evident that the documentation related to business relationships with non-EU data subjects necessarily require data transfer to these Countries.

DATA RETENTION PERIOD

Personal data collected for the aforementioned purposes shall be retained at our company for the time period required for pertaining activities.

CONSENT WITHDRAWAL

Consents given on different web forms for personal data collection may always be withdrawn in accordance with art. 7 para. 3 and art. 17 para. 1 letter b). The withdrawal may be notified to our Data Controller to the addresses stated in the following paragraph.

DATA SUBJECTS’ RIGHTS

As far as the aforementioned processing is concerned, data subjects may exercise the rights pursuant to articles 15, 16, 17, 18 and 19 of the GDPR (EU) No. 679/16 (rights of access, rectification, deletion, restriction of processing and notification in the event of Rectification/Deletion/Restriction by the Data Controller).

AMENDMENTS

The Controller reserves the right to amend, update, add or delete parts of this policy at its discretion and at any time. Data subjects are required to periodically check any amendments. In order to facilitate that check, the policy specifies the update date.
Use of the website after publication of the amendments shall be understood as acceptance thereof.
